For those of you who enjoy the luxury of chilling in your arm chair with a beer and fat columbian cigar, you know the ones  “Colombian Gold by Bravo Cigar” the ones that make your ceiling all blacked out and your… anyway never mind that!

Director Jamie J Johnson’s release of the excellent “Sounds like teen spirit”  movie and it is out now on DVD, I would seriously go and seek, hunt and kill anyone who is trying to buy the last copy in HMV, as they say in LA “its totally funny” I did the full movie review with a trailer a while back, click the link below!

SOUNDS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT – review

Quirky, light hearted, fun and an adventure into the world of eastern european pop culture. This pop-umentary or documentary follows parents from eastern europe who have entered their children into a “Junior eurovison song contest.” What’s funny, is that it’s all true, It’s not fiction.  Director Jamie J Johnson, has done brilliantly well in spotting this little jem and follows a few families from around Europe and documents their build up to the competition.

What’s lovable is that most of us in the UK have never heard of this competition and yet it seems to be well supported and some of the children take it quite seriously. The fun part is just the participation and going on the journey with these quirky families.  It’s hilarious watching these children practise for the competition and listening to their ideas on who is going to win.

The release date is 8th May 2009

UK Film Screenings 2009

Over the next few weeks, I will be attending quite a few film screenings so I can review them on this site. I just have to say that there is no shortage of films coming out this year and we at the realitypod towers are very excited at the fact that we can attend these screenings.

The first will be tomorrow, starting with a screening of “Sounds like Teen spirit.” I can’t go into too much detail as we have not seen it yet, but I though it would be worth a mention. We will have a trailer shortly for this and we can’t wait to post a review on our new channel to come!
